Texas Baptist Mission Foundation awards $242,000 in ministry grants

DALLAS – The Texas Baptist Mission Foundation has awarded $242,000 in grants to be used for ministry by Texas Baptists ministry staff in 2017.
In August, the TBMF Council considered and approved 28 grant requests, funded by undesignated donor gifts, to be used for ministry projects by Texas Baptists, Texas Baptist Men and WMU of Texas.

We are working with a trusted partner to conduct a brief survey among a number of our churches to help us better serve your needs. Texas Baptists is partnering with an organization known as Ministry Safe to better address the issue of child sexual abuse in the local Church. We are concerned about the wellbeing of children and greatly desire to see that suffering, especially at the hands of child predators, be prevented. Through this partnership, we are offering training opportunities for your church leaders, as well as other resources to help your church become aware and informed about how to prevent child sexual abuse.
