DALLAS – The Baptist General Convention of Texas has hired Carolyn Porterfield to help connect Texas Baptists looking to help people affected by Hurricane Ike with opportunities to serve.
The former executive director-treasurer of Woman’s Missionary Union of Texas will start Sept. 29 and will help Texas Baptist mission teams and individuals connect with Southeast Texas mission opportunities in the wake of Hurricane Ike. Full Story »
