The Baptist General Convention of Texas has appointed Frank Palos stewardship specialist to lead its stewardship ministry efforts.
Palos will move from his current position of BGCT Hispanic evangelism director to his new role Nov. 1. Prior to serving on the BGCT Evangelism Team, Palos was the director of congregational stewardship and associate coordinator of what was then called the BGCT Church Health and Growth Section.
Before that, he led BGCT stewardship and Cooperative Program efforts related to Hispanic congregations. In all, he has led more than 100 capital campaigns for Texas Baptist churches.
Palos will promote healthy financial stewardship in BGCT congregations and will lead personal money management training seminars. Under his leadership, the BGCT will provide tools and resources to help congregations develop and manage budgets. Palos also will help provide capital fundraising services for churches.
“With over 25 years of BGCT denominational experience, Frank Palos has served Texas Baptist Churches in a variety of ministries,” said Keith Crouch, team lead of the BGCT Resource Services Team. “He knows the local church, particularly in the area of stewardship and strengthening local congregations.”
Palos earned his master’s degree in business administration from Dallas Baptist University. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University.
