Full On Faith Week Fed Many!

July 30th, 2012 at 10:25 am

What a week it was!  Many North Texas Baptist churches participated in the Full On Faith Week at the North Texas Food Bank in Dallas July 9-14.  A total of 872 people volunteered for one of the three-hour shifts, and the results are amazing!   The total number of pounds of food prepared for distribution was 148,632!  The number of meals provided to the hungry was 182,431!

Thank you, Texas Baptists, for doing your part in meeting hunger needs in our communities.  Don’t stop there, though.  The North Texas Food Bank and other food banks across Texas need volunteers every weekday and some Saturdays.  Get a group together any time and sign up.  You will be blessed!
