Hunger and Poverty

Simply Speaking–Simply Sharing

Are people in your community really all that hungry? Let’s find out.  Go to this website provided by Feeding America.

Click on your state and your county.  Read the information found there.  Think about it.  Pray about it.  Is your congregation doing something about it?  Many of you are; but if not, please consider how you can become involved in the solution.

One way is to go to the Texas Food Bank Network website ( ), click on “Need Food?” and then “Find Your Food Bank.” Click on your county on the map to find the food bank for your area.  At that food bank site, explore ways you and your church can make a difference.  It’s that simple.
