BASTROP – Texas Baptist Men disaster relief efforts have ended in Bastrop, but service opportunities remain available through Texas Baptists disaster response efforts. Full Story »

A group of 40 students from Texas A&M Kingsville Baptist Student Ministry pulled on their work gloves and eagerly came to serve the Bastrop community last weekend. Full Story »
PAIGE – Timberline Fellowship lost its office supplies, pastor’s library and lawn equipment when wildfires burned two small mobile buildings. Some of the siding on its Sunday School building and sanctuary also melted and smoke damaged the parsonage and church buildings. Full Story »
BASTROP – When Leticia Lybarger was told her house was burning to the ground, she was devastated. Her property was uninsured. She’d lost everything her family wasn’t able to quickly stash in their vehicles, including a photo she’d kept since she was a young girl, most of her clothes, nearly all of her shoes and a variety of other items. Wildfires in Central Texas have destroyed more than 1,000 homes, affecting the lives of a multitude of people. Texas Baptists churches are attempting to reach out to those affected by the fires and help however possible. A Texas Baptist Men feeding unit is preparing 5,000 meals for roughly 1,000 firefighters combating the blaze. Full Story »
