Speaking to Texas Baptists, not for them.

Almost every family and church is impacted in some way by substance abuse. The BGCT’s Christian Life Commission addresses the issue of substance abuse primarily through prevention and education strategies. A comprehensive faith-based prevention curriculum for youth is available free at our web site, and a growing network of consultants/advocates crisscrosses the state.

In addition, resources are available to help your church begin a variety of ministries appropriate to your congregation, including a sample sermon and bulletin insert . Our substance abuse consultant provides treatment referral information as requested.
