Loving OK

“Loving Oklahoma” is a gathering of Faith Based Volunteers who are committed to being the hands and feet of Christ in the areas of Oklahoma affected by recent tornadoes.

Texas Baptist Disaster Recovery is partnering with World Vision, Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and several churches in the Moore/Shawnee area of Oklahoma to rebuild homes in Steelman Estates, a mobile home community where over 100 mobile homes were destroyed by tornadoes. Most people living in this area did not have insurance. Through “Loving Oklahoma,” volunteers will be involved in a variety of projects in five different areas of Oklahoma to assist those that have been affected by recent tornadoes. World Vision is providing building materials, but experienced builders (and teachable amateurs) are needed now!
