Colorado Flooding

Spend your summer vacation making a difference in Colorado.

The Colorado Flood Recovery Project is now underway. Individuals and teams are needed to help residents recover from the damage left behind as floodwater came through the mountain canyons last fall. We are working in Boulder, Larimer and Weld counties along the Northern Front Range in Colorado.

There are many ways for teams of volunteers and individuals to assist with the following ministry opportunities.

  • Mud-out
  • Construction
  • Carpentry
  • Roofing
  • Drywall installation and finishing
  • Flooring installation – laminate, wood, and tile
  • Painting
  • Fence rebuilding and debris removal on farming and ranching fields
  • Feeding
  • Housekeeping
  • Office support
  • Base camp and warehouse assistance

Dani Andrews, a member of the multi-state collegiate summer team works in Colorado as the teams help residents repair and rebuild flood damaged properties. You can see more about the work of the three summer collegiate teams on Facedook.

The project is being coordinated by a leadership team at Estes Park Baptist Church in Estes Park, Colorado. Housing is available for 50 volunteers per week.
