Texas is a mission field, TXB missionaries are either volunteers or people who raise support and who commit to at least 20 hours per week in a mission setting here in Texas. TXB missionaries are people who commit to working in any part of Texas.

These missionaries are appointed by the Baptist General Convention of Texas after a proper background check and screening. If they choose they are able to raise support through the convention, and be a subcontractor working under the office of Urban Missions. They will work with various organizations, but the priority for their recruitment and placement will be with Texas Baptist churches.

Stephens House

Stephens House is the physical reality found in the heart of every believer. It exists to care for those no one wants. It exists because an awareness of the Gospel is almost invisible in the southern mountains of rural Peru. Our church (FBC Hughes Springs, TX) has been working in these mountains for almost five years now. We have built some fantastic relationships that are blossoming into great disciples of Christ, but there is a step missing. They needed some practical demonstration of the Good News we preach. They needed to see the Gospel at work in their communities. Thus the idea for Stephen's House was born. Learn more...

The Last Frontier needs the hope and healing of Christ. The ministry of Alaska Missions seeks to meet needs, break down walls and share the Gospel. Our passion is to love and serve our people well.
