Michele was only a sophomore in high school when hunger became her reality. Charity was just a child in a family struggling to make ends meet. So often the face of hunger is a poor child living in a African village or the homeless man pushing his belongings in a shopping cart down the street. Though this is true, hunger can and has touched the lives of more than 1.3 million Texans – Texans who are your neighbors and who live in your community.
