Have I mentioned before that I really love to travel? I thrive on new experiences, opportunities, restaurants, scenery, people and places. I have often found, however, that the first time I go someplace can be a little frustrating, perhaps even intimidating, until I get my bearings in a new environment. Full Story »


If I were to tell you that worship, both personal and corporate, was not just about you, you would probably agree with me. If I were to ask you who worship was about, you would probably say God, Jesus, my relationship with Jesus or something along those lines. Growing up in the Bible Belt is not as easy a task as you might think, especially in the belt buckle of that Bible Belt known as Texas. However, it does have its advantages. Growing up as a kid, I always hated what is commonly referred to as “big church.” It was incredibly boring to me and I didn’t enjoy it at all. This was my story at almost every church I attended through high school.
