Growing up in the Bible Belt is not as easy a task as you might think, especially in the belt buckle of that Bible Belt known as Texas. However, it does have its advantages. Growing up as a kid, I always hated what is commonly referred to as “big church.” It was incredibly boring to me and I didn’t enjoy it at all. This was my story at almost every church I attended through high school.
