Sunday, June 25
Each year, TBM trains volunteers and coordinates efforts to provide prompt assistance and emergency support during times of disaster. TBM has been involved in disaster relief in Texas and around the world since 1967. Nationally, TBM serves through the North American Mission Board, the third largest voluntary disaster relief organization, after the American Red Cross and Salvation Army.
The TBM Disaster Relief Day is an opportunity for Texas Baptists churches to raise awareness about disaster relief throughout Texas and across the nation. Since its inception, TBM has responded to every disaster in Texas. With your help, we can continue rebuilding communities and sharing the gospel to rebuild lives.
You can help promote this opportunity in your church on Sunday, June 25. We’ve provided a short informational video to play during the service and a bulletin insert to distribute. You may also use the TBM logo to create a promotion that is tailored to your program.
