Human Trafficking involves the recruitment, harboring, transporting, or procurement of a person for labor or services for the purpose of involuntary servitude, slavery, or forced commercial sex acts.  The CLC and Texas Baptists advocate for human trafficking victims, motivated by God’s heart for the oppressed.

Legislative Priorities

  • Support efforts to protect and care for victims of human trafficking, including adjustments in the regulatory structure to accommodate best practices for victim services.
  • Support efforts to increase access to anti-human trafficking training for education, health, and law enforcement professionals.

This ministry is made possible by your gifts to the Mary Hill Davis Offering.
