I recently finished my master’s degree in Youth Ministry from Howard Payne University and feel called to full-time ministry on a college campus. My husband Garrett and I both love working with college students and value the individual relationships we have made through ministry at other campuses. We can’t wait to make those connections here at Lonestar Cy Fair.
College was the time in life when I began to question my faith and beliefs. It was through college and campus ministry that mentors came alongside me to journey through life and questions. Through BSM I truly learned how to do ministry for and with my peers and became passionate about discipling on campus. I look forward to this journey with the students of Lonestar.
College is a stepping stone in life to shape future leaders. A good college ministry helps students grow and learn about themselves in a safe environment. Right now, Lonestar Cy Fair has 10,000 students who are unreached by Texas BSM. I believe that students on this campus should have the life changing opportunity that I did. Through your support, I get to be on campus and live life with students. I get to meet them where they are and walk through their struggles and doubts with them. I want to show these students that their identity is found in Christ, not in their grades or success.
I appreciate and look forward to your partnership in this ministry. There are two main ways to get involved with my ministry. First, you can pray. Prayer is incredibly important. I am on a campus that is completely different from anywhere I have ever worked. The students at Lonestar Cy Fair have very unique needs. Second, you can financially support my ministry at Lonestar. We greatly appreciate your support and prayers for our work on this campus.
