About the Camp

Experience Camp Exalted

In 2005, pastors attending the African American Fellowship Conference wanted to give students productive activities in which to take part. They decided to start a mini Christian camp for students, and Camp Exalted was born.

Unite students together from different cultures, backgrounds, and cities for one week to be enlightened, encouraged, and educated about their relationship with Christ.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20

The Camp Director
Rev. Carlos M. Francis was raised in Fort Worth, Texas and accepted Christ at an early age. Carlos graduated from Texas Tech University in December, 2003 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise and Sport Science. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the 2004 NFL Draft and served for four seasons. Carlos graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters in Christian Education. Carlos and his wife, Martisha, reside in Arlington, TX with their daughter, Carlee  and two sons Carter and Carlos II.
