Living out the Great Commandment and Great Commission in Texas and beyond
Hello Friends,
The Texas Baptists family has talked about the two “GCs”—the Great Commandment and the Great Commission—for more than ten years. Over that time, the acronym “GC2” has meant many things to many people.
Today, we are working to reimagine “GC2”, and we are excited about where the Lord is leading us.
We believe that thriving churches live out the Great Commandment and Great Commission and that faithfulness to the two “GCs” should be our principal aim.
To that end, we have formed a team that is learning and designing a discovery process to help churches who desire to assess and strengthen their “GC2” practice.
“GC2” is an invitation to join other churches in a discovery process to assess and strengthen their Great Commandment/Great Commission practice, become “GC2” strong, and help others do the same.
We want to help all churches become “GC2” strong, regardless of their geography.
Would you join us in prayer as we work with churches, partners and staff to learn and design this new discovery process? And, would you prayerfully consider your role in this collaborative effort?
We firmly believe God will continue to do amazing things among us in the days to come as we abide in Him and seek His leading.
Blessings,
Sergio A. Ramos
