Despite traffic and weather conditions, all of the Mission teams arrived to Duncanville’s First Baptist Church today! We are so excited to get to know people from these churches all over Texas. There are about 175 students and leaders who made it here safely from Plano, Wylie, Dimmit, Crockett, Southwest Park, Stoneburg, and Kingwood.
When they arrived, our students were able to get situated in the rooms graciously offered by Duncanville’s FBC this afternoon. We are thankful for them this week! BOUNCERS were also able to participate in the BOUNCE BASH, in which they were introduced to our BOUNCE staff, played games, and had fun together. Students were briefed on their various roles in the mission this week, with some in charge of hydration, team devotionals, or evangelism reporting. Many students have the opportunity to lead on the team with whom they serve. The evening concluded with a time of worship and teaching. Randy taught out of Matthew 5 and BOUNCERS were able to hear from different staff members about aspects of missions and ministry.
BOUNCERS are ready to help members of the community and serve the Dallas community. Teams will be heading out early in the morning to begin their projects. Can’t wait to see what the Lord will do in the week to come!
