TBM looking for Dallas COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Volunteers

by TBM Communications on January 19, 2021 in News

In support of Dallas County's mass COVID-19 vaccine distribution at Fair Park, TBM Disaster Relief volunteers are helping distribute pre-packaged box meals and coffee to the staff and medical professionals who are administering the vaccines. Texas Baptist churches can coordinate volunteers to serve from January 25 through the end of March. Training is not required for this effort.

Each day, a TBM team leader and six additional volunteers will provide pre-packaged boxes of food to the doctors, nurses, staff and other volunteers who administer vaccinations.

The TBM website stated, “This is the perfect opportunity for a group of friends, Bible Study group or individual to make a difference in these difficult days. This opportunity will be available through March, with a possibility for extension based on need.”

Volunteers can be part of teams of up to seven people Monday-Saturday to meet this urgent need. Shifts last from 6:15 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Volunteers can sign up for this opportunity here.

If you have any questions, email TBM Disaster Relief Director David Wells at David.Wells[at]tbmtx.org or call TBM at 214-275-1100.
