The Texas Baptists Center for Ministerial Health welcomed David Foster as the new director of the Millennial/Gen Z Network.

Texas Baptists welcomed Carol Plant as the new director of Human Resources. 

The Texas Baptists Center for Ministerial Health welcomed Aaron Summers as the new coordinator of Pastorless Churches. Summers transitioned from his prior position as lead pastor at First Baptist Church Crowley. He assumed the position on Feb. 17.

The Texas Baptists Center for Cultural Engagement welcomed Carlos Francis as the new director of African American Ministries. Francis transitioned from his prior position as the director of Young Adult Ministries. He assumed the position on Oct. 7.

The Texas Baptists Center for Ministerial Health welcomed Olga Harris as the new director of Counseling Services. Harris transitioned to the role from her prior position as a private practice LPC. She assumed the new position on Aug. 19.

The Texas Baptists Center for Missional Engagement welcomed Clinton Lowin as the new director of its Missionary Adoption Program (MAP) and Church Planting Centers. Lowin transitioned from his prior position as the minister of missions at First Baptist Church Tyler. He assumed the position on Nov. 19.

The Texas Baptists Center for Missional Engagement has welcomed Noe Treviño as its new director. Treviño transitioned from his prior position as director of the Missionary Adoption Program (MAP). 

“My heart is really to help churches to saturate their communities and their cities with Jesus Christ by teaching them to define, declare, defend and demonstrate the gospel of Jesus Christ.”

Sergio Ramos is joining Texas Baptists to develop further and direct the emerging network of Great Commission and Great Commandment, or GC2, churches and ministries in Texas and beyond.

Jacobson said he is excited about using the strategic mindset he has developed with church planting to create executable plans and share the impact of collaborative missions and ministries with convention churches across the state and beyond. 

Dr. Gabriel Cortés has rejoined Texas Baptists as the new director of Hispanic Education within the convention’s Theological Education ministry.

The Texas Baptists Center for Ministerial Health welcomed Kevin Abbott as the new director of Pastoral Health Networks and Area 5 representative.
