Alan Shlemon

Alan Shlemon has worked as an author and speaker for Stand to Reason since 2004. He trains Christians to share their convictions in a persuasive, yet gracious manner. Alan teaches about some of the most controversial issues of our time: abortion, evolution, homosexuality, bioethics, and Islam. He has been a guest on both radio and television, and has spoken to thousands of adults and students across the country at churches, conferences, and college campuses.

Alan’s training incorporates three components. First, he equips people with the knowledge to form a foundation of belief. Second, he teaches them to communicate their knowledge persuasively and clearly. Finally, he shows them how to communicate in a warm, friendly, and gracious manner. Alan makes complex issues accessible to both youth and adult audiences.

Elizabeth Urbanowicz

Elizabeth Urbanowicz is a follower of Jesus who is passionate about equipping kids to understand the truth of the biblical worldview. Elizabeth spent the first decade of her professional career teaching elementary students at a Christian school. After completing her M.A. in Christian Apologetics at Biola University, Elizabeth started Foundation Worldview, an organization that helps Christian adults equip children to carefully evaluate every idea and understand the truth of the biblical worldview.

Eric Hernandez

Eric Hernandez is a dynamic evangelist and apologist with a heart for proclaiming the gospel and defending the faith on theological and philosophical grounds. He’s the author of the book, The Lazy Approach to Evangelism: A Simple Guide for Conversing with Nonbelievers, which has been endorsed by J.P. Moreland, Mike Licona, J Warner Wallace, Frank Turek, and Lee Strobe, and contributed a chapter to the book, “Faith Examined: New Arguments for Persistent Questions.” He’s a licensed minister, a certified formation therapist, and the Apologetics Lead and Millennial Specialist for The Baptist General Convention of Texas. Eric has spoken and debated on a public level at college campuses where he adamantly defended the Christian faith against skeptic, atheist, and agnostic professors of different worldviews. He holds an associate degree in social science, a bachelor’s degree in theology, and a certificate in apologetics from Biola University.

Robert White

Robert White is a pastor, public speaker, motivational coach and organizational leadership strategist. Robert is passionate about individuals understanding and living out their God given purpose.  His passion for individuals to know and understand the gospel is seen in his passionate delivery of scripture and his strategic approach to evangelism and community engagement.  Robert serves as the Lead Pastor of Freedom Church in Bedford, TX, a growing, diverse, and multi-generational church.  Prior to planting Freedom Church, Robert served as the Youth and Young Adult pastor at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Arlington, TX.  Robert also served as the Associate Director of Evangelism for the Baptist General Convention of Texas. Robert studied Business Administration with a Finance concentration at California State University Dominguez Hills in Carson, CA. Robert recently obtained a Master of Divinity from Baylor University’s George W. Truett Seminary. Robert is married to Marisha White and is the proud father of two daughters, Makenzie and Makayla.

Bill Scott

Bill Scott is a public speaker and apologist. He holds an M.A. in cultural apologetics and a certificate in philosophical apologetics from Houston Christian University. Bill and his wife Tabitha are missionaries with the campus apologetics ministry Ratio Christi at Houston Christian University. Bill has taught apologetics and ministered in several contexts including East Africa, the Muslim-Christian interface, the underground church. In Fall 2024, Bill will begin a PhD in Intercultural Studies at Talbot School of Theology. Bill also hosts an apologetics and theology YouTube channel called The Truth Conversation.

Preston Condra

Preston Condra is a Southern Baptist minister, a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served for 10 years on the ministerial staff of churches in Oklahoma and for 17 years as the Associate Director of Watchman Fellowship, Inc., which is an apologetics ministry with expertise on cults and new religions.  He has been a frequent guest speaker in churches across America, conference speaker, adjunct professor, guest lecturer at colleges and seminaries and appeared as a guest on numerous media broadcasts.  He is the author of “Universalism” in the Popular Encyclopedia of Apologetics, Contending For The Faith as well as co-authoring 12 books with his wife, Kelly, as founders of Sufficient Word Ministries including the Can I Ask You A Question? set of 4 books for evangelism training that has been customized for several Baptist state conventions that includes a book for the believer and a book for the unbeliever answering 40 objections to the Gospel. He also leads the Can I Ask You A Question? evangelism training workshop in churches most weekends training nearly 3,000 Believers per year. Preston lives in Northwest Arkansas with his lovely wife, Kelly.
