Texas is a mission field, TXB missionaries are either volunteers or people who raise support and who commit to at least 20 hours per week in a mission setting here in Texas. TXB missionaries are people who commit to working in any part of Texas.

TXB Missionaries is made possible by your gifts to the Mary Hill Davis Offering.

These missionaries are appointed by the Baptist General Convention of Texas after a proper background check and screening. If they choose they are able to raise support through the convention, and be a subcontractor working under the office of Urban Missions. They will work with various organizations, but the priority for their recruitment and placement will be with Texas Baptist churches.

Keron Jackson

The most important part of Keron Jackson's life is motivational speaking. Keron believes that he is not unique, and lives on this earth just like everyone else. We've all been lost, forgotten and not loved. Mr. Jackson wants to reach out to those in poverty, those whose parents are on drugs, and the kids that try to do better even though no one says, "good job." Learn more...

Nick Howard

Nick and Susan Howard will be ministering at Immanuel Baptist Church in Wiesbaden, Germany. IBC is a wonderful church with an amazing story. In the years following WWII, no English-language Baptist churches existed to serve the U.S. military forces remaining in postwar Germany. Immanuel was founded in 1957 in order to meet that need. Jeff & Alicia Lee

We seek to be the presence of Christ by engaging in holistic, relational and healing ministries among the ethnic groups of Skopje. Christ's love for us compels us to join God in ministry among the poor, marginalized and neglected: to serve people marginalized by poverty, to show the love of Jesus Christ to many who feel unloved, and to share life together in community with the people God places around us. We work alongside local, grassroots organizations to address the needs of families living in extreme poverty, people neglected by society and children rescued from or at risk for human-trafficking. Charles Pyles

At age 61, God's message for me through His word was that I would continue to be a witness to the nations, even into my "retirement" years. I was called to serve as a Southern Baptist missionary in Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Macedonia. After 12 years of serving overseas, I returned to Texas where God led me to my current place of service in McKinney, Texas as a Volunteer Community Developer for the Collin Baptist Association.
