My name is Doug Cherry. I’m a follower of Christ and I’ve devoted my life to vocational Christian service. My passion is disciple-making among the young adult population. My calling for the past 13 years has been to serve as a campus missionary through NAMB at Carnegie Mellon University. Of late, the Lord has opened a new opportunity of service to the students of Texas Christian University.
God has led by His Spirit. He has orchestrated events and repeatedly confirmed this calling on my life. What started as a simple idea was given to God. Through prayer and seeking this idea grew into a desire and then a passion. This ministry opportunity also fits with my general passion to make disciples among the emerging generations. God has made the way in every step of the process.
This is a spiritual work. Spiritual warfare is real and happens. We need a base of ministry partners who will be committed to pray for my wife and I, for our marriage, our family, and our work with students. We also need a network of people committed to support the ministry financially.
Ministry Partnership is the best way to get involved. Ministry Partners keep up with the ministry, they pray, and they give financially to support the work at TCU. To learn more about Ministry Partnership, go to www.disciplestrek.com.
