In the troubled times we live in, the words of our Lord are the best words we can hear.
"Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27 NIV
So what are we to do with the uncertainty of our lives with the coronavirus?
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart. And do not lean on your understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 NASB
I've read that the phrases "do not fear” or “do not be afraid" are written 365 times in the Bible. Can you trust God during this pandemic? Of course you can! God created you in His image. He has loved you from the beginning of time. He knows your heart, your fears, your failures, and yet, He still loves you. There’s a song that says "if you can't see His hand, trust His heart!"
Psalms 23:4 says, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." (NASB)
Many in our world are walking in the valley of the shadow of death right now but we need not fear!
If you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, He promises to give you His peace. If you don't know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, any peace you have will be worldly peace. Please read the following verses from the book of Romans. Through these verses, you can find the path to God's peace.
Jesus gave His life so you can live with Him in heaven when your time on earth is over. Know God and you will know His peace today!
