DALLAS -- Texas Baptists welcomes Steve Massey as the new Vice President of Texas Baptist Mission Foundation (TBMF) as of January 2.
"I am so pleased to have Steve on our staff. His experience as a development officer and a committed churchman will fit well on the Missions Foundation team," said Bill Arnold, president of TBMF.
He began his career serving in various roles in the corporate world before transitioning into full-time ministry. He served for six years as Vice President of Development for Buckner International, and most recently, as Vice President of Development for e3 Partners/I Am Second. Massey has a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of North Texas.
TBMF exists to provide giving opportunities for individuals who seek to make an impact for God’s kingdom both in Texas and beyond, whether that’s through starting a new church, supporting student ministries on a college campus or restoring communities through disaster recovery.
“I’m looking forward to opportunity to be apart of TBMF to do my part in helping change the lives of others,” said Massey. “I think my experiences in for-profit and nonprofit bring a good balance to the position in helping to understand the donor, as well as the needs that exists.”
Texas Baptists is a movement of God’s people to share Christ and show love by strengthening churches and ministers, engaging culture and connecting the nations to Jesus.
The ministry of the convention is made possible by giving through the Texas Baptists Cooperative Program, Mary Hill Davis Offering® for Texas Missions, Texas Baptists Worldwide and Texas Baptist Missions Foundation. Thank you for your faithful and generous support.
